My Latest Vintage Creations

Hi my lovely readers,

First of all i want to say : Happy Valentine's Day !!!!!

Today is 14 Feb and it's Valentine's Day. Have you give flowers or chocolates to your love ones? I'm very sure i will be seeing lots of lovers holding hands with one hand and on the other hand they will be holding lovely flowers, boxes of chocolates, heart-shape balloons, etc (Make all the singles jealous). But no worries, like i said in my previous post, you can always celebrate with your parents, siblings, relatives and your bffs.

Okay, tonight i'm not going to post my valentine's creation, cause there aren't any (Oups, actually i'm eager to try this wigjig design, heart shape wire. However i'm holding back. Just wait and see).

Before my trip back to my hometown, i had an inspiration when i looked my old design of necklace. It made from vintage chain antique bronze color with lots of cute charms. I adored a pair of the charms and too bad i never stock them, cause now they are out of stock.

I took out the charms and decided to create a pair earring. Then when i was at my hometown i got a chance to went out to craft store. I never had any ideas there got lots lots of beads, crystals, findings, and on unbelievable affordable price. I felt like in heaven. I straight went to search for sparkling china crystal in AB (Aurora Borealis) coated. It means from shimmer than normal crystals. And i found lovely colors : dark metallic purple, bright orange, and bright green.

I had so much time when creating 3 pairs earrings with vintage style. And i'm happy to be able to show you.

Let's Make Them.

I named it Honey Bee.

Too bad i couldn't find this cute bee charms at the market. Aren't they cute.

To make them look more playful i add 3 bright orange AB crystals on each earring. Then hook it with flat ear hooks. The bee charms, eyepins, headpins, jump rings and ear hooks are in antique bronze color to give vintage look.

Classic Purple Flowers Earrings

I'm dying to create this earrings. I saw many designs from magazines, websites and even at Etsy.com. But out of all i love my own design. I'm using 4 lucite frosted acrylic beads flower in 2 tones of purple (dark & light). As the crown flower i'm using 2 bicone glass beads in dark purple. Brass in antique bronze as the bead caps. And by adding the dark metallic purple AB crystals to give extra shines and glamour. For the ear hooks, i'm using lever back type of hooks. Vintage enough?

Classic Orange Flower Earrings

Actually i ran out of orange color lucite flower. But i'm happy that i'm using this small green color flower. Turns out to be good combination. For the crown flower, i use dark green glass beads. To adds shine bright orange AB crystals is my option. Again to create the vintage looks i use all in antique bronze colors and lever back ear hooks.
