Hi All,
On this week post i want to share my projects during last weekend. But first i need to tell you, normally during weekend i seldom make earrings, bracelets or any my craft hobbies due to busy doing house cleaning, laundering, cooking, etc. Simply no time. However, there are some projects that i want to try badly, stored inside my head.
Then after lunch i decided to try some new projects : wire jewelry. Actually i am a bit curious about wire jewelry and do some research in internet about it and found 1 website contain lots of info about wire jewelry together with lots of projects for beginners to intermediate. You should check it out at http://www.wigjig.com/
First try i found quite difficult creating artistic loops using wire. But trust me by keep on practicing wire jewelry actually quite fun. You can create lots of unique loops which you can use as spacers or decorations in your earrings, bracelets and necklaces.
Follow me where i will show you my projects.
Let's Make Them.
These are my 3 projects:
From left to right - Ice Cream Cone With Cherry Earrings (designed by me), Queen Of Clubs Earrings & Triangle Jewelry Wire & Bead Earrings (As sheen on http://www.wigjig.com/)
Above here is my own design. I named it Ice Cream Cone with Red Cherry earrings. I always want to try to make ice cream cone earrings and finally i did it and very happy with the result. I had been searching the gold cone findings to places and happy to found them at Chinatown. The lady told me the findings were new items, just arrived the day i went there. Then i combine the cones with synthetic white pearls and as the red cherries i used red plastic beads. I used tarnish resistant wire in gold 22 gauge instead head pins then link them with ear hooks.

From my previous projects to me this one probably took me quite some times to create. Took me almost 2 hours from cut, arranging template, follow the instructions until finish. I'm quite happy with the result. You can create this earrings by following the instruction from http://www.wigjig.com/jewelry-wire/triangle-earrings.htm
I used 22 gauge wire in gold color to create the loops. 12 plastic purple beads, 12 toho beads in silver, 4 eye pins for the beads, 2 jump rings to connect the 2 ear hooks.
Last projects from my weekend was this clover earrings. I called it clover, because it resemblance to the 4 leafs clover but this earrings got only 3 clovers. The original name is Queen of Clubs Earrings. You can follow the easy steps from http://www.wigjig.com/jewelry-wire/clubs.htm
I used I used 22 gauge wire in gold color to create the clovers, 2 size 12 mm plastic beads faceted in light pink, 4 bead caps and 2 ear hooks. I like this earrings because they are so simple, sophisticated and wearable for any occasions.
